Iran's Parliament Speaker Responds to Trump's Open Threat to Strait of Hormuz
BlockBeats News, March 22nd, according to Xinhua News Agency, in response to the ultimatum from U.S. President Trump demanding Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Kalibaf stated on the 22nd that if Iran's power plants and other infrastructure become targets, all key facilities of energy and oil in the entire Middle East will be considered legitimate targets and face irreversible destruction, leading to a long-term oil price surge.
Yesterday, Trump posted on social media, demanding Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, or else he would launch attacks on Iran's "various power plants" and destroy them.
