Amazon is planning to hold a "Deep Dive Meeting" to address AI-related service disruptions
BlockBeats News, March 10th, according to CNBC, Amazon plans to address a recent series of service outages, including some related to AI-assisted coding errors, at its Tuesday's re:Invent conference.
Dave Treadwell, the executive in charge of Amazon's website technology, told employees that the company's "This Week in Stores Tech" (TWiST) meeting will have a "deep dive into some of the situations that have led to these issues." The meeting is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Amazon's Senior Vice President of E-commerce Infrastructure, Treadwell, wrote in an employee notice: "You may be aware that the availability of the website and related infrastructure has been poor recently." He added that due to the frequent occurrence of Sev 1 (a critical event causing a system outage or performance degradation), he will adjust the meeting focus.
