AI Hackathon guide

Make sure you have the following ready:

Your WEEX account, 2FA enabled, at least one AI agent, and an API key.

• We recommend completing your account security setup first.

• API trading permissions are required to place orders.

• This guide uses Codex as an example, but any AI agent can be used."

Go to API Management and create an API key.

• We recommend creating a dedicated API key for the hackathon event.

• After creating it, save your API key, secret key, and passphrase.

• Keep your secret key secure."

Install an AI agent before getting started.

• This guide uses Codex CLI for the example, but other AI agents can also be used.

• If you already have the Codex app, you can use it to help install the CLI version."

Install the "WEEX AI Wars Trader Skill" in your AI agent.

• Once installed, you can access WEEX API functions through natural-language prompts.

• If it doesn't open automatically, simply ask: ""Open the WEEX Skill API Management page.""

• Use it for tasks such as market data queries, analysis, and order placement."

Once everything is set up, you're ready to get started.

You can check market data, view assets, view positions, place test orders.

• Check BTC market data and your account balance.

• View your current positions.

• Place test orders with the minimum order size.

• Experience the full trading workflow using natural-language commands."

• Never share your API Key, secret key, or passphrase with anyone.

• If you only need to query data, start with read-only permissions."
