PING is the first token launched based on the internet's native payment protocol, x402. Its launch was accompanied by numerous operational issues with the x402 protocol facilitator, including insufficient funds and server crashes. The token has no actual functionality, but is intended to convey a sense of early adoption of the x402 protocol.
